Library High-Atlas Morocco | Moulay Ibrahim, Tadert Kik
Why a library?
Planet Inaba Foundation has started building a children’s library in the High Atlas Mountains of Morocco. The idea for this project was born after the earthquake, when we contributed to the construction of an ecological school in the region. During that time, we witnessed how urgently children needed a place to learn and explore beyond their classrooms.
In this part of the Atlas Mountains, there is no functional library. That realization inspired us to take action. Funded by Planet Inaba, we are creating an inspiring space where children can discover books, study during their free time or school breaks, and develop their talents in a safe and supportive environment.
We see it as an opportunity to provide access to knowledge and creativity, while also creating possibilities for future training programs and workshops that will help children and young people thrive.
Our goal is simple yet powerful: to build a safe, sustainable place where learning, inspiration, and opportunity come together, giving the children of the region a stronger base for their future.
